Our routine has become English breakfast in the morning, exploring all day (castles, trails, lovely drives), cream tea in the early afternoon, finding/checking into that evening's B&B, then off to a pub for dinner and brew. Kristi and dad have become a fan of Stowford hard cider.
May quits as PM. Our first gas station fill-up!
Dubbed "soccer ball" abbey after an under-supervised kid kicking his soccer ball against the ruin
Harlech Castle (on the coast):
You could walk around the high wall
Firing and cooking demonstrations (guns and canons - quite loud!)
"Cream tea" (English tea, scones, clotted cream and homemade jam) has become a regular thing.
Our little cabin in Snowdonia National Park:
The "guard's cabin" at Aberdunant, a huge park with 100 cabins - all full on the "holiday weekend"
Beddgelert village:
Finding Gellert's grave
Pub Dinner!
Absolutely LOVE your photos and descriptions of places you're visiting. Talked to my friend Bernadine this morning and she further described the clotted cream consistency and how much she enjoyed scones and tea, with clotted cream. I've sent her your blog spot, b/c she dearly loves Great Britain and Wales. I hope the weather cleared for you....I'm absolutely amazed at all your B and Bs and I need to check out your sources and web sites. Lots of love to you!
