And we're off! Avebury (May 21)

And we're off!  Will, Dad, Jane and Kristi are headed to London-Heathrow and onto Avebury by this evening!

After looooong flight delays out of Denver (due to a late-May blizzard!), we finally made it to Heathrow (via Reykjavik), met up with Will and Dad.  They had worse luck with delays and de-icings...

We picked up the rental car (and the VE103B form to drive the car into Ireland) and drove on the M4 through the beautiful countryside to our little Dorwyn Manor B&B in Avebury.   We arrived pretty late and with restaurants closing, the owners Debbie and Mike gave us ham and cheese sandwiches and beer so we could rest and relax after we arrived. So nice!  

We’ll check out the stone circle tomorrow and then onto Stonehenge, Salisbury, and Bath.
