Conwy Castle and Holyhead (May 27)

We're here at Holyhead on the northwestern tip of rugged coastal Wales. We've been really lucky with the weather - what we think will be a socked in rainy day turns into partly sunny afternoon and evening with gorgeous low light on castles and coasts.  Here are a few photos from today's visit to Conwy Castle and Holyhead lighthouse and surrounds. (We're headed on a car ferry to Dublin tomorrow morning.)  Wales is absolutely stunning - we had no idea...!
